UK shopping giant Woolworths has signed a lucrative deal to promote The Simpsons Movie, due out on DVD Monday.
Matt Groening will redraw the store's puppet sheep and dog ad stars, Wooly and Worth, in Simpsons style.
Store fascia at 200 sites will be changed so the double 'o' in Woolworths is replaced by doughnuts - Homer Simpson's favourite treat.
Five Woolworth stores will be completely 'Simpsonised' by replacing the traditional red frontages with the cartoon's famous yellow, with life-size Homer and Bart Simpsons on hand. The coup is reckoned to be worth £5million to Woolworths.
Fox, which makes The Simpsons, transformed 12 North American 7-Elevens into real-life Kwik-E-Marts in July when The Simpsons Movie was first released.
