Let me say this: Homer is one of my favorite characters. Some of his lines have become some of the viewer's favorites. Even when people think that the show is falling off, he can still provide hilarious lines (ie-"Badger my ass. It's probably Milhouse.") However, most of his lines are centered around Homer's stupidity. It's time we explored what Homer and the show would be like if Homer were smart.

First things first: lets talk about Homer. Homer would be a million times different. Homer's defining traits are his weight, his drinking, and his stupidity. Take away the stupidity, and of course things would be different. Homer wouldn't hang at Moe's, in my opinion, because that place is for losers (It really is!). So that means that Moe, and Barney wouldn't be included in the show. At work, Homer would probably be a higher ranking worker, on account that his stupidity is ninety percent of the reason why he doesn't get promoted. This means that the family would get more income, so the entire family would be richer. More importantly, the Homer we know and love would be drastically different. We wouldn't hear any quick one-liners (ie-"Oooh, they have the internet on computers now.") that make us bust out laughing anymore.

Secondly, the entire family would be different. Bart, Lisa, and Maggie would all be smarter because of Homer's smarter DNA. Heck, the family Simpson might not even exist if Marge fell in love with the dumb Homer.

The entire show would be different. It's as simple as that.
